Motor is shot. Give it to me.

I powdercoat. If it can fit in my oven, I can do it cheap.

teehee... i dont even need to touch them anymore... all i need to do is think about it....

when you are rolling backwards, lightly step on the brakes so they engage... my bet is the noise will stop...

I will also go with e-brake. They use the standard rear interior drum, go under the car and check the lines and dust covers, pull out your center console and check the lines, last case scenario pull the brakes apart and check the internals

You should also check the seating clips of your brake pads when you have the car up, make sure all the clips are there and holding tightly.

metal clips might be hitting. they could be dirty, have you tried cleaning them? spray some brake cleaner on them. there could be a little bit of rust on the pads.
could be a rock jammed between the rotor and backing plate.

you could also try slamming on your brakes a few times to see if it cleans them off.

your pad could be sticking too. take them off and clean them.

the in reverse part is what makes me say e-brake.

It could be your e-brake. Did this happen before you got hit?

No it didn't start when I got hit, it just started like a week ago.

Sounds like its a brake issue for sure. I'll take a look at them soon here. Thanks for the tips!

I still think your motor is shot and you should just give it to me. Maybe it's the sway bars. In that case you should give em to me as well 😉

The brakes squealing in reverse. I think Nick's STi had that same thing.

What was the problem with his?

If it is a common problem is there a common solution?
