YES I DID WATCH THE MOVIE AND IT WAS FULL OF COMMENTS FROM IGNORANT FUCKS MUCH LIKE YOURSELF. SO YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT FUEL EFFICIENCY IS NOTHING TO PAY ATTENTION TO WHEN BUILDING STREET CAR MOTOR? WHETHER YOUR JUST IGNORING THAT FACTOR BECAUSE ITS A "RACE CAR" OR WHATEVER THE CASE MAY BE, BEING EFFICIENT WITH FUEL IS STILL A FACTOR.POWER TO WEIGHT IS JUST ONE COMPARISON I POINTED OUT. IGNORING POWER PER LITER ARE WE? THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT. YOUR BULLSHIT DOMESTIC COMPANIES COULDN'T MAKE A DECENT LOWER DISPLACEMENT MOTOR IF THEIR BUSINESS RELIED ON IT. WHICH IS FUNNY, BECAUSE THIS IS THE EXACT REASON THEY AREN'T SELLING ANY CARS AND GOING OUT OF BUSINESS.
AND I WOULDN'T TALK ABOUT MY CAR. MY CAR PERFORMS IN ALL CATEGORIES. I BELIEVE ON e85 COMING BACK FROM THE CITIES I GOT 32MPG. WITH 350+ HP. WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO FILL A TANK OF GAS FOR 16 DOLLARS AND HAVE IT LAST 300+ MILES? THAN HAVE IT TRACK CAPABLE FOR AN 11 SECOND PASS? OR ARE YOU TO BUSY IGNORING TO CLEAN YOUR WHITE TRASH MULLET AND TALKING SHIT TO PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW ONLINE ABOUT THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT?

hey 00Ws6TransAm doesn't your car run mid-low 10's???Doesn't it do this while driving completely like a normal street car??
I bet you must feel perty retarded doing an actual burnout huh??
i bet you feel even dumber by not spinning the full track length and running a 13 huh??
That is pretty impressive gas mileage, maybe ill get a car that gets mileage like that to drive around in the winter.
Having a car 'capable' of running 11's and a car that actually runs 11's is a big difference. :icon_queen:

Yea car ran mid 10's, its perty streetable (full interior, a/c etc). Not the best rwhp/liter ratio(~100rwhp/liter) or hp/weight ratio.
It does suck that i cant spin at 3/4 track:mad:. -

I posted a collection of facts..... you make no mention to them as if they didn't exist???
you know, the ones parker bumped....
ps... i received a 31 in my English and a 30 in the reading portion of my ACT, not bad for an illiterate hick huh?

GM has more models that get better than 30 mpg than HondaYeah, but how many of them are essentially the same car across 3 different brands? (Pontiac, Saturn, Chevy)

TRUTH!
i love this debate, i really do. but are we seriously talking about hp/litre, gayest argument i have ever heard. and why would you build a race car, hi hp car and think about MPG at all. hell the only MPG sort of thing i even think about is diesel fuel/hr on our tractors and such. i dont even think about mpg at all, infact i dont really even pay attention to gas prices, your going to buy the gas or diesel anyways right?

i think we are trying to compare 2 very different things. Obviously for huge hp cars like 1000hp+ your going to run out of enough motor to even move enough air. But what i'm saying is your shit box domestics cant make a decent product. This isn't just who makes more power. Its that the only way those companies know how to make power is by going the easy route. God forbid your crappy domestic companies will innovate something worth giving a shit about. And besides we dont need huge 1000+ hp cars to go fast. Thats the beauty of power/weight. We can go 9's with 450+
your ignorance is astounding, you really are as dumb as you sound is all im gathering from your posts. And put your money where your mouth is and go 9s with 450hp in a FWD. In fact, i challenge anyone on here to go 11s on street tires, not DRs, street tires and pump gas 91 in ANY honda FWD that you nutswing on all the time. I did it, on the first time to the track, and i got 24mpg on that tank, in a 364ci v8, not to mention i used it to haul a complete engine a couple days before that, and had 5 people in it a couple days before that, comfortably. The world does not operate on 4cyl hondas like you think. It operates on full size 4wd v8 pickups and suvs, which, BTW, are categories honda cant seem to compete in at all especially in fuel economy and capacity

what the hell is plugging the block in going to do for gelling??LOL , I better not see any bashing on the Dmax from you import fanboys..... as it is an Izuzu
120 volt fuel heaters, best investment on a diesel used up here during winter in my opinion.

Look up the emissions for 2010 diesels, this is the reason I don't have time to debate healthcare and import vs domestic. Gov't is making us diesel guys plenty of research and training just about mandatory to do our jobs with all the new epa standards.

this argument has turned to shit, thanks zac, parker, and gary....
you guys really need to get a clue, it was never about who was faster or w/e
as ANYONE knows that rwd is better for drag racing. just like mid engine is better for handling(weight distribution and all).
So why pound the fact into the ground. we get it, and i have never said fwd>rwd.
and ws6transam..... what does having a 11 sec car and having one that is capable of running 11's different? thats the same thing as saying i have a zr1 corvette it ran xx.x in the 1/4 mile.( by a pro). does that mean i don't have a car that runs xx.x in the 1/4?
you smoking something buddy?
also how does mpg NOT come into effect with a car. why would i build a car that get 8mpg with the same "potential" as a car that can get 25-35 mpg?
ask gary as he is braggin up his mpg, he must be stupid....
think about it a honda can go run 10's and still drive around getting 35+ mpg. that is impressive no matter how you look at it.
can a v8 do it, maybe but most likely not. i can't even beleave you guys are arguing mpg. i mean there is no argument from the v8 side. admit 4cyl is better for mileage. just like a big ass v8 can make big ass hp.
/argument

also where did i say fwd was better? it can be effectively used well. i think we can agree on that.

Wasting money is buying something of low quality and then having to buy it again in a week when it is broken. Enjoying a vehicle is hardly considered wasting money.
