7's and easy don't belong in the same sentence. 🙂

Just noticed something Dave, are the main caps not finished or are they machined for different bearings/crank? I noticed the block has a bearing in it and it appears the cap with no bearing covers about half the width of the bearing, or is it just the picture?

As Grr said, the main bearing bore needs to be line honed after the caps are installed, so you have to leave extra material on the cap for that. There are too many variances from block to block to be able to make the cap a perfect fit without boring it after it's installed.
