I'm thinking about doing a vtec head swap on my car found a few write ups. But I want to know what you guys think is it worth doing the head swap or is it better to just put a whole new motor in? Remmber I don't know that much about moding honda cars. I really don't know shit about them. Just learning as I go. So any help is awesome. Maybe when it comes time to doing it if anyone wants to help that would be great. Ill get some beer for us.

I think I would do a boosted d. I did some digging and some of the ds are cheaper.

You should just probably not get into modding your Honda. If you just started a business, currently in school, and things are not financially stable for you, then modding your car is not something that is considered priority appropriate. Don't get me wrong, I love helping people go further with their car, but the best thing you can do right now is focus on the more important things in life.

as could be said for anyone at any time. when does modding your car make financial sense? Unless its restoring an investment grade classic.

When did I say that modding a car made financial sense? I guess I was trying to suggest that this is not the time to be looking into expensive or boosted swaps when the guy tells me through PM that "I just don't hav any money for it just got the car and I'm in college. I all just stated a buis and its slow."

What if I did a vtec head swap bored out the block and a cold air would that be any good? That's what I'm really thinking of doing

A VTEC head swap would yield some good results but don't bore out the block.

sounds like a great way to spend more money than a b swap..
