Yes, it sputters and wants to start. it turnos over and dies as soon as I let off the cranking switch. If it helps I tried various different positions with the throttle too, but it doesnt seem like stepping on the gas makes any difference.

dont touch the gas on a fuel injected car...it will flood

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

Holding throttle to the floor shuts down all inj pulse.

if thats true, why does my car start if i hold my pedal to the floor then crank it over?

dont say things that are untrue. well it may be true for some cars, but defenitly not all

I don't need any more advice, just "sold" the car as a parts car. should have it gone in a couple weeks.

Cool you sold the car, but as for the throttle part, every vehicle is different. MOST newer vehicles will kill the inj. pulse when you hold the pedal at full throttle. Older fuel inj. vehicles will flood the car. It is highly recommended not to touch the gas on any vehicle unless it is carburated. Or unless you know what you are doing.

I've taken 2 electronic/engine performance(with a month or so of fuel pumps/filters/etc) classes at my HS. I knew what was doing.
