my car used to do that when you punched it, turned out one of the spark plugs was just bad... might be just that simple of a fix.

and yeah it would only do it when you got on it.

    Minute ricer!

Ok this probably seems really dumb but how do you know if the wires are bad or not?

Disconnect each spark plug wire off and measure resistance between the 2 ends of the wire. Resistance should be less than 25000 ohms on each wire.

Exactly what my car did. Rotor cap, take it off and take a look at it now before the problem becomes more serious.

Even if the plugs have spark the won't always fire under load, so replace em if not any of the other problems.

Jake-did you have this same problem with it?

check your distributor cap and rotor, replace your fuel filter, check ALL of your engine grounds that's what i would start with..........................................or u can always bring it to tintmasters and i'll fix it

If its the distributor, I would have to replace both cap and the rotor right??

Thanks, but I will just buy a brand new one. I would rather have new parts or aftermarket parts. And would that dizzy even work on my car considering its a 1.5 d15 NOT 1.6 d16
