Right, I didn't think it was that hard to comprehend.

I'm hoping someone has some wire they want to get rid of, or to find out a good source to buy some from a local store.

Every Local Audio Store has wire, just go in and ask how much they want per foot.

You could probably go to - Site on Sound, The Glass Garage, Paradise Audio, ect....

That reminds me, I was thinking of checking with Praxair. If I do go with 4 gauge wire I know they have a good price on 25 feet rolls.

0/1 gauge is fucking enormous. Why you would run that back to the battery is beyond me.

I agree with Nick here. 2ga. maximum is all that's needed. Anything bigger is a waste of $$ if you ask me. Pin, 4ga is more than adequate for your needs. remember that your oe cable is the coarse strand stuff and thats no good for much more than 5ft on most situations but the finer strand stuff is far superior at carrying current and holding up with the draw hence thats why 4ga has just become the norm for the average battery relocation. And it's hella cheap to get locally. Just an opinion/advice.

Aight. I have some 4 guage cable in the garage that I bought at Praxair a couple of years ago. I don't know how long the chunk is, as I used some of it to make grounding cables. Thanks for the heads up, everyone.

i got some 0 gauge from the interstate batteries warehouse a few years ago when i used to compete db drag. at least i think it was interstate. it was cheap and they had spools of it so im betting you could get a smaller gauge. i remember finding the place was a bit of a trick tho. good luck.
