check for boost leaks first. also are you sure it's actually building boost, i mean do you have a boost gauge (stupid question but just making sure)? if you have a data logger, check your timing retard and knock. i had the same problem with my previous turbo. the oil seals were blown and it had mega shaft play. a new turbo solved my problem.. just some ideas on what to check. im no dsm guru tho. check dsmtuners.com also, lots of info there.

i think you might need to check your boost fluid :icon_thumright: :icon_thumleft:

but on a more serious note check the turbo condition

sounds like you have a case of dsmotitis. Seriously though, check your ignition system, your injectors, and check for boost leaks.

definately get yourself a logger or find someone who has one that you could use. check your o2 voltages to see if the o2 sensor is working properly, and check for knock, and check your timing advance at low rpm. check your ignition too, see if you can borrow someone elses ignition coil to see if that helps any. check your alternator voltage and check for fluctuations which could mean a bad ground. seriously tho dsmitis is right, there are so many things which could cause the symptoms you are getting. its just a matter of getting all of the information you can (data logger, boost leak tester, etc.) and narrowing the problem down bit by bit. you need to check out dsmtuners.com if you haven't and search the newbie forums. there is so much usefull information there it's silly. this may not be something you will be able to diagnose and fix lickety split, so resign yourself to working at it until the problem is solved. DSMs are great eh?
