IntroI wish that I lived closer so that we could run before I tear the BMW down for a rebuild. I guarantee that the one from Mandan is the one that I saw. I tried flagging the guy down but he wouldn't stop.
P.S.
I've been around the Hybrid-Racing guys for years. I've bumped into them at the Baton Rouge and New Orleans meets several times and they seem like some nice people.

Katrina and Rita you bitchAs a Louisiana native and someone who still owns a home there I just want everyone to know that there is no party like a hurricane party. These pics were a buddy and me riding out hurricane Gustav. Basically you just get drunk, eat everything in the fridge and freezer, laugh at how much mother nature is a pussy, and pray that you don't get blown away. Afterwards you just drive around and look at all of the flooded streets and do some crawfishing. (Setup traps along flooded road ways and they will fill up within minutes)
My entire family rides out the storms. Last night my mom made a pot of gumbo before it hit so that they could use of some of the food in the fridge. :icon_thumleft:
Find whatever you can to drink

Find alternative forms of light around the house

Enjoy the high water and downed trees (There were lots more but these were all I could find)

Started a new site solely dedicated to motorcycle riders in the Fargo-Moorhead areaThis is such a low traffic forum that it would be great if we could get more riders on here.

New guy on the blockWelcome to FS,
One trip to the junkyard could turn that car around. Hood, headlights, corner lights, tail lights, and some interior pieces would do this car miracles. I bet that for under 250 bucks you could have this car looking fresh.

IntroWelcome. I'm an old Honda guy and the only way that I would have a k-series is in a swap. (The wife drives an 09' SI and it broke me from newer Honda's)
Did you have your FD in Bismarck awhile back?

Electric Fans+Save gas+more hpI'm not arguing the gain in HP but I just want to see where the gains came from in the power band. Getting rid of the clutch fan also get's rid of the annoying whoosh under the hood it creates.

Electric Fans+Save gas+more hpI've used these guys in the past.
http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/html/electric-fans.htmlor, you could just go the junkyard route. Just make sure that you get something with enough flow and that you install a temp sensor to trigger it on/off when needed. A few years ago I took a job with Nissan and shortly after they had a massive recall on the electric fans out of the Nissan Titan's. I loaded the back of my Jeep up with at least 20-30 electric fan's. There's a couple of boosted Honda's in Louisiana running a Nissan Titan fan now. They were super thin, mounts were easy to mock up, and have great flow.
