European cars are overpriced, and un-reliable. When an american car manufacturer has better reliability then you... your doing something wrong. European cars are some of the worst cars to get. Yes they perform good, feel good, look good. But are you prepared to pay out your ass when it breaks down? Which will happen much sooner than later.
After owning an american car, and reading that european car reliability sucks.. im going with the japanese vehicles from now on. Not to mention aftermarket parts for european cars are retartedly expensive.
Unfortunately, there is more than a little truth to your retort. The new market for european cars are hideously expensive and hard to work on. The old days are over. I remember even the 90s, when euro cars were easy to work on, reliable as hell, and not very expensive (though more expensive for cars & parts than domestic). Since the turn of the century, that is all gone and a nightmare of bullshit is in it's place. I concede.
