No, I am not able to accept a IHRA license in place of a NHRA license.

By my/NHRA's definition, a "race" is begun as soon as a driver brings his/her car into the pre-stage beams. Once you turn those lights on with your front tires, you've raced. No as for how a dealer/insurance looks at it, I'm not sure. I'd guess that once its teched in and has been taken out onto the race surface (burnout box, staging, track, etc.) they would consider it having been raced. Edit - Never answered your original question. It is considered a race whether its a solo pass or a competition pass.

You probably already know this, but if you can't find one to borrow Harbor Freight sells these for a pretty reasonable price...

Not that there is fuel check to run at Top End. But I prefer not to have to completly flush the sysytem before I go to a race that does have fuel check. We also found on the dyno the VP did not make any more power than the Sunoco. Not to mention it is close to half the price.

I think Dave got his issues sorted out and will redyno and hopefully run in Oahe on the 17th and 18th of July. I made 1054whp last time I dynoed. Car sounded pissed. I'm still running pea shooter turbo. same pea shooter you used before? if it's pissed than i would want to stay out of its way. Were you able to keep from spinning the tires on the dyno this time? Ill hopefully finally make it to the next tintmasters on the 23rd, and the old probe might be making an appearance there too

They (used to anyway) keep an email list of recent students from their programs - maybe they'd be willing to send out an email for you. Unfortunately I let my certification and licensing lapse a couple years ago or I would do it. Thanks for the help, I rounded up a few EMT. FM ambulance is kinda a last resort, they have been out here before and, as they claim, their only job is to be EMT's. I need someone willing to be my eyes at the big end of the track (were they are stationed) to give us a heads up if a car is lazy getting off track or in the field.
