ya whatever it was. i thought they were putting 7s in them. as far as racing, uh not really. i got to 50 and he was pulling away. no sense in trying to race. he just stomped all over me. but like i said, hard to race when you dont have the motor to race with.

But blindly replacing a switch won't necessarily fix the problem either. Sure, it might, but there is no guarantee that it will, especially seeing how everything worked prior to the abandoned wire tuck, and didn't work after the reconnection, logically the problem is most likely a connector/fuse that is causing the problem and not a mechanical switch that was not directly associated with the work being done.
