Think you'd be able to price match the place in Walker (I believe it's Reeds????)? When my dad bought his H&K he was able to get it for like $100 or $150 less than what Scheels was trying to sell them for being as Scheels isn't willing to deal and Reed's did. My dad would be much happier driving to Fergus to buy a gun than he would be driving to Walker.
We usually can beat scheel's by the same amount. We don't carry much new inventory on hand as the overhead is so expensive and with so many makes and models it's hard to carry exactly what someone wants. What we tell people to do is go out and find exactly what u want and we'll order it in...it might take a week, but it will be much cheaper that way as we dont have all kinds of money into new inventory on hand that doesnt sell and have to charge an arm and a leg on what we sell to make up for that. We do carry some new guns on hand but mostly deal in used, we probably have around 200 or so in the show room so there's some selection, and if you need something special, we can usually track it down. If you know of something you want or ever need prices the shop number is 218-736-2133. My dad also does some gunsmithing, cleaning, taking care of rust and stuff, and also does Dura-coating (it's a refinish that u can do that looks like a matte finish and can handle a lot of abuse).
