    Or use the cherry picker to lift out motor/trans like normal people.

      bp, have you ever pulled a motor on a ef? because i have many times, and i can tell you that pulling the engine/trans as one isn't very easy. as the engine bay is tiny. oh and if these kids can't figure out how to pull a motor you think they have the ability to pull the roll pin in the shift linkage and pull that before wraping around the bottom of the car.

              Umm... if it were me, i'd just use the cherry picker... i've done it many ways, out the bottom, bare hands, etc... cherry picker seemed to be the easiest...

                    in those 20 min, i would have had the engine half out. and not wasted the money to "rent" a hoist.
