        lol...it makes me kinda sad actually, but the Z should be just as fast (or faster) when its put back together, waiting on junk and cleaning / chroming parts.

                        Nope, blown head gaskets and half case seal leaks are the major downfalls of this motor. Change the coolant out if you haven't already, coolant passages were cast too close to the threads that holds the cylinder heads down, dirty coolant can cause corrosion near the threads and cause cylinder head bolts to let go. Be sure to use HDD(high Zn,Ph) oil, that generation N*'s use flat tappet cams. Beat on the motor, it's good for it, N*'s are extremely durable and respond well to an italian tune up. If a head gasket does let go check out this thread
