Well here is the progress made so far. motor, tran's, and exhaust off. going to start the k-member swap this week or weekend.
-
Finally got started on my car again. OE k-member out along with steering part's. New bmr k-member installed. Found out had broken coil spring's oh well just more new part's to get.
-
well rack is figured out with the tie rod end's, coil spring's installed, brake's bleed back on the ground about to order steering shaft part's. hopefully will have the motor test fitted this week.

motor is in found out i have to remove the a/c heater box. found a non a/c box. plus trying to figure out where to mount the turbo and to run the pipe's.
-
I would like some suggestion's on what transmission to use. I would like to keep it streetable so i am thinking ether a th350 or a th400

mostly drag car with a turbo LSx i would HAVE to vote 'glide, they are absolutely not unstreetable. In fact with decent power they are much more streetable than a 3 speedDid Zach notice much of a difference when he swap from the th350 to a glide?

the best thing i have done aside the V8 is the glide
what does your car weigh? i am right at 3k with me in it
atleast for me it works better on the street, it helps put the power down and manage traction
gary rode in it on the street on the same power it was going lower 9s and can vouch for how well it hooks
plus it loads up and gets me full boost instantly, and i can still way overpower myself on the line when on the Brake
another thing is i have a remote fluid cooler with electric fan..... with the 350 that thing would run about all the time when driving/beating
with the glide i think it has kicked on twice, but alot of that could do with the converter too

I looked at my buddies glide and found out it would not work at this moment. I'm planning on running what i have for the rear suspension for now to keep the cost down
But once I do like you did Zach build my 6.0 and make it more of a track car than i will go with a glide. But now i have made progress. Got the old a/c heater box out and installed the non a/c box. Got the exhaust manifold's modified today and cut the idler arm bracket out and installed a plate over the hole. Also started the hotside exhaust pipe and kinda got the downpipe figured out. Hopefully have the hotside done this week. -
Well made some more progress today got the hotside tack welded and figured out.

It's a gt-45 ( 70mm ) if i remember. It was free i'm planning on upgrading after it get this set-up done. I started looking at an S400 75mm with a T-4 flange. But i'm open to suggestion's

I really don't know if I will have the room for a T6 unless i cut into the fender well but then i might not have room around the hood. It's kinda tight around the turbo right now plus i will not have room for the down pipe. We were able to get 3.5 inch to fit right and i really don't want to cut into the frame that much. I even think 4 inch would be tough to do.

well not much progress as of late. just a lot of ordering of parts. but i can say christmas is going to come early this year as everything i ordered should be here by next tuesday. then next week while i'm on vacation i will work on the fuel system and possibly pull the motor out and swap out the oil pan and weld in the drain for the turbo. i also might start some of the wiring
