i dont feel the need to spread my wealth to others that dont fuckin deserve it... if you cant make it on your own... there are ALREADY programs to help you get back on your feet and keep you alive, state healthcare... food stamps, welfare, disablility the list goes on and on.... we pay for that with OUR taxes, and no one says boo about it

There are jobs, go find them... Shit, MacDonald's is hiring somewhere here/there I bet.. Go work there, find something to try make the bills and find the job that you would feel more comfortable having while you work some other job. Hell, they even have Labor Ready and pay that day! There are ways of making $$$ even if your so lazy w/ no ambition (donate plasma, do PRACs) But if your a healthy person capable of working but choose not to because your lazy, you don't deserve shit.. The government should not support you in anyway..... So if your some broke ass bitch, start filling out those employment apps.

From an honest outsiders view, this actually makes you look like a fool.my bad. i forgot that christian bashing was out of bounds. maybe if i publicly declared myself a racist like so many others on here i will be taken seriously?
if you formulate an opinion of me by what i say on here that is fine, but realize everything i post is purely to anger people.
thrash, since your so well versed in the english language you should apply the words irony and satire to the posts which you find offensive. perhaps it will save you half an hour trying to defend yourself from something that has absolutely no malicious intent or merit. believe it or not, not everyone on here is actually trying to prove something by arguing/debating/etc. some of us log on here simply to see if the internet really IS serious business.

The problem with the so called universal health care is that it would be so abused, it would end up costing wayyyyyyy too much.. and the fuck if I'm going to pay for thathe calls for universal ONLY for children...those who can't work on their own and for whatever reason their parents don't have healthcare for them....I think you have him and Clinton mixed up.
Basically he wants the fed gov't to cover catastrophic health problems...basically a re-insurance (like FDIC or any other disaster relief program) that would cover you when your insurance has reached its limits. Yes, this is a very simplistic view of how his plan is laid out, but I'm trying to summarize it.

you sure seem to have a chip on your shoulder..... spread the wealth!!! with all the programs we have... it looks to me like we already do...You are 100% right. I don't see McCain or any other candidate saying they are getting away from the graduated income tax. Until they do, they are just as guilty as anyone else....IOW if I steal $5000 or $50000 of your paycheck to help someone else, it is still stealing...right?

One issue people up here have when thinking of $250K/yr income is that 250K is NOTHING in cities like LA/NY. Just a quick comparison, families making $250K in SanFran would only need $135K here to maintain the same living style (http://www.bankrate.com/brm/movecalc.asp?a=0&d1=250000&d2=173.637575043401&d3=93.7512824653305)
Now imagine other places like LA, Manhattan, parts of Texas, Florida, etc etc. These are large populations that require a LOT more money to maintain the same lifestyle as they would here...
