Well we finally went to the track with the blue car.

Well we finally took my uncles car to the track to see what ballpark we are in and we are pretty happy with the results so far.
This is the car.

Dyno graph.

The runs were all on 18" rims with dirreza tires. And the only mod we have for traction is suprasport traction bars.I also personally ran the car down the strip once and got a 12.58 at 121mph.
This was my uncles first time ever driving at the strip. We are thinking with more practice and a few more pounds of boost 11's are at hand.

And I cut a 2.3 60ft taking it easy on it. (it's better when the owner of the car breaks it)

Just wait until next year should be even more fun with a bigger turbo, and a custom intake manifold.

thats an easy 11 car as is.. 2.0 60 foot is really bad.. id say its close to a 11.5-11.6 car with a 1.7 60 foot.
does it make 550 hp on a DD dyno converted to Dynojet numbers? if not thats close to 640 hp.. on a Dynojet.. How much boost are you running.? What fuel? What turbos
?IF you want we can do a roll on against my EVO which has ran a shitty best of 11.3@ 126 1.7 60 foots made 535hp 470 TQ on 30 psi w/ E85

GT3582R turbo A1000 fuel pump with a sumped tank, -8 feed line -6 return, 1200cc injectors, E85. Tuned on Shanes dyno at DB. So it was on a dynodynamics at 22psi.
We are fairly confident we could have easily made 600+ with a few more pounds of boost.
The plan for this winter is bigger exhaust and a custom turbo, coupled with a custom intake manifold which I will build.
We will likely get booted from the track next year on drag radials.

Interesting discovery. Hooked up my laptop finally and did some pulls with the same settings we had at the track and the most boost our EBC would give us was 19psi with one spike at 20psi.
So this car definitely has more in it. And I started playing with the two step just a bit kinda neat having 16psi in neutral.

Is this the guy who was at the MAP event in BIR? If so I remember Tufte ripping in to you... might be a different guy.. O and more than likely DB converts to Dyno Jet numbers..

Yup that was me. And to this day I will stand by my point, that at work we do build our own turbos. And just because we use garretts wheels does not take that away. That is like saying Tufte doesn't make his own manifolds because he doesn't have a mandrel bender and roll his own stainless tubing.
