-10 AN for me too and -8 back . Just do it right the first time so you only have to do it once.

I had the Aeromotive on the Cobra, when I had two pumps on that it was not returning enough of the fuel to the return line. I borrowed Dave's Weldon and it cleared that right up. The Orange car had a Weldon on it. With both pumps running base pressure goes up maybe 2-3 lbs at idle. Either one should be fine. Also run two filters, one before the pump and one after.

You guys run and bend hardline the length of the car or just run SS braided the whole way up?

                  thanks for the input:icon_thumleft:

I run an Aeromotive Pro pre-filter and a Aeromitive standard post filter. Braided line the whole way, no hardlines.

I have -12AN line from the fuel cell to the pump, then -10AN from the pump up to the engine bay, I have a Y-block in the engine bay where it splits to two -8AN lines and each -8AN line goes to an end of the fuel rail. I got the Weldon 2040 regulator.

Aeroquip Push-lock is a cheaper alternative from cell/tank to the engine bay. It is a very durable hose.

They aren't too bad if mounted properly. Here is the video of the Weldon that was bolted right to the car with no isolators.

If I can make room I am going belt drive this winter.. I don't like the idea of two pumps.

I have always wondered about the push-lock stuff, never knew if it was any good so i have never tried it

maybe I'll give it a try, thanks

                                      I picked up a Magnafuel 4301

Any of you heard good or bad about these pumps?

I have been using that exact pump for the last 2 years. It is a great pump, I had one issue with it overheating, but after sending it in and them fixing for free its been flawless. It was 95 when it overheated, i havent heard of such problems with other users though. There was older style wear plates in there that expanded and locked it up when overly hot.

I have a 74micron pre filter and a 40micron post filter. I have part #'s if you want and it will save you money buying direct rather than through a vendor.
-8feed and -6 return (Stainless all the way)
Line runs in one rail across the front through the other, out the back, and into the magnafuel fuel pressure regulator.
Depending on your power goals you may want to increase line sizes.

thanks for the info! glad to hear you have had good luck with it.

I already picked up my plumbing supplies sadly 😞 ... got a magnafuel 74 micron and 10 micron filters... and the big magnafuel 9950 regulator with -8 return

some of you may think i am retarded but i plan to run my regulator in the back of the car....going to run a high static fuel pressure and un-referenced.

I like the simplicity in the engine bay with no fuel plumbing there... i will see how it works like that, i can always change to referenced

will be -10 to the pump... -8 to the FPR.... -8 from FPR up to the front rail... and a -8 return from the FPR right to the tank

-8 will support 1k hp.... I am not crazy like some of you guys so it will suffice 😉

What fuel pressure are you going to run? How are you going to feed the rails?
