to make any power with a turbed honda u MUST sleeve the block then it wouldnt matter what motor u went with because u could push 25+ psi and if u want more just go with a bigger turbo..

      b16-2000$
      sleeves-1000$
supporting mods- lets just say 1000$
      huge turbo-1000$

nick made 267whp out of a stock D-series why would building it only be able to yield 300hp? Building a D-series is cheap as hell cause you can get D-series for cheap as hell...

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

untrue.... there are a plenty of guys running ridiculous hp numbers on stock sleeves now 400-500whp. go hop on honda-tech and look. they're been using forged internals, but have been keeping the stock sleeves.

that would move a hatch pretty good wouldnt it. I mean yait should move it a lot better then the d15 91 hp moves it. What do you think i could run in the 1/4 with the b18c1?

I don't know times, but yeah that would move a hatchback quite well.

My hatch has a blown head gasket and it ran a 15.5 with a header and a short cold air intake. i guess from wut i heard not sayin its true but i heard that a htch wit a b18c1 should make a high 14 aec in a 1/4

That's a good deal on the motor. However when you do that you are going to want to do the following:

                                  Headgasket
                                  Timing Belt
                                  Alternator Belt
                                  and a Clutch

Those are the 4 things I recommend on EVERY swap. Because you really have no idea how many miles are on the motor, how long its sat, etc.

Buying/looking for the cheapest swap out there is just not going to be in your best interest. Buy the most complete and best warrantied swap regardless of price unless you wanna buy twice.

yeah most of them say they have 30-50k....but usually have 130-150k on them....there are soem cheaper places than that i think they offer a 6 month warranty also.

And include all of those parts also.

If u buy a motor...make sure everything that is supposed to come with it actually comes with it....otherwise you gotta spend more money that you shouldnt have to!
