Ya I thought about that, but I bought the pearlized knob and I really dont wanna mess it up. So I figured if I brought it someplace that does this kinda stuff they could prolly do a better job with out marking up the knob. and crash the cars, re-engineer the mods that need to be done, get those mods certified by DOT, go through a couple hundred forms/red-tape and then maybe get the gov't to certify that they are a legit importer that can modify to meet DOT standards. I'd guess that would be a 1-2 year process w/ a huge investment.
