have you ever looked into any of the adhesives they use in autobody. 3m, lord fusor, evercoat and valvoline all make really good products. probly the best would be the evercoat since that one dont take a special gun, just a typical calking gun is all you need.

ya, its a huge job to do, approx 13 hours of work total, if any car is questionable on repairs like this, it is probably best just to sell it as a machanics dream car, or scrap it. The only thing that is at risk for being damaged is the engine itself, if it isn't already being ruined from the coolant entering the cylinders. Good luck in finding a car! Ry

hopefully you guys can help me out here, my car's always had a small water leak, but I've never found it, but suddenly it turned into a massive problem. i'v never found water in my oil so my only idea's were head, or head gasket. but now I'm wondering if it could be the turbo, since watter drips onto the ground now right under it. has anyone ever heard of that being an issue.. AKA worth looking into more? ohh and I should add that when the radiator is full or engine cold I get steam coming off the front of my engine, a rather good amount of it. hit me up with any idea's

thanks guys, I think they might be extra wires for the canadian wiring scheme for that car, since in the shop manual there are 3 different schemes(2.2 non turbo, 2.2 turbo, and 2.2 turbo canada only) thinking maybe they are for if the car had daytime running lights somehow, though we never could get power out of them on the volt tester, they just seemed like dead wires.

Given the above described situation is my timing effed Sure i was kinda hoping my timing did jump but thats far beyond the point. You FOOLS I was asking if it should be something I should be worried about. The guy said a buncha plastic went through my gears and i'm not the most mechanically inclined person so i was wondering if it could have thrown my timing off. Way to jump the gun tho and be a buncha dumbasses. These are 3 seperate posts from you in this very thread. And that is the very point I was making here. They both sound like a scam to me along with a few other people that replied. So don't sit there on your high horse and call us fools when we all took it the same way. And as for a answer to your question. (as you put it). If your car runs fine, the timing belt did NOT jump and your valves are fine. Case closed. This is also no longer a tech question and consider the thread closed.

i dont know much about this whole air suspension stuff, but say that the problem isnt in the strut itself, say it is actuall in the car. maybe something else is binding up. take the strut off completely, put the rear of the car on jackstands, than put a jack under the right rear tire and jack it up to see if the suspension itself will actuall go up all the way..... like i said i have no idea about air suspension but this could work

The end of the extension makes perfect contact with 4 out of the 10 points of the nuts and will be more than enough to loosen them. Trust me. i'd trust him, he does work for a tire place
