have you ever looked into any of the adhesives they use in autobody. 3m, lord fusor, evercoat and valvoline all make really good products. probly the best would be the evercoat since that one dont take a special gun, just a typical calking gun is all you need.

if there are two different prices that means there are two different part numers. Two different part numbers means there are two different parts in which to number. Two different parts in which to number means there are two different parts. seriously though they arnt the same

This maybe not what your thinking of but a 4g63 would be a cool swap... i am for sure doing one in my starion, just got to go pickup a wideblock 4g63 out of a junkyard, starion trans bolts right up to it. The parts are readily available... anyway just wanted to put my 2 cents in. http://zerog.beatingyou.com/ Website on how to do the swap Good luck

I pulled out my msd ignition box to remount it better. Like a dumbass, I forgot exactly were some of the wires reconnected to, the two grounds, and hooked them up to were I thought they were supposed to go, either way around and the car turns over but doesn't start. So I went to msd's website and got the wiring instructions to make sure everthing was in the right place then went back and double checked all the connections and made sure they were all in the right place, so that part is good. So now I go to start my car and it still doesn't start, turn over though, so I went and checked fuses, there all good, went to start again, same result. All I can think of is that there's some bad connections from the distributor to the box or from the box to the coil, which is also an msd blaster 2. Everthing worked just fine before I disconnected the box and took it out. I'm hoping it's not the box or the coil that's messed up, I can't afford a new box right now. What do you guys think is the problem. I need help.

that's crazy.... my srt4 has more torque then a 360 modena. I'd definitely still rather have the modena.

The block can be resleeved and used with a stroker crank to achieve 427 cid, or a C5-R block can be used. As I stated earlier, this is a 6.0L iron truck block, not a C5R or factory alum block- just to clarify

With the alternative being a $2500+ BS3, it's a pretty good buy. I'd like to see a Megasquirt system in person, though. What's the ETA on your project car? I should have MS running on my car within a few weeks. I will update this thread when it happens. I have to get off my lazy ass and put the engine back together first..

What I am getting at is a company like alaniz (endyne, portflow, RLZ to name some others) has proven over and over again that their porting can not be beaten for gains and quality of work. I believe it something like $900-$1000. Not bashing your buddies work, but I'm taking a skeptics point of view and saying that he's not going to be able to beat an alaniz or endyne job.

hrm..... Car smokes when idling......and I'm guessing at first start up too right? That's valve stem seals. Very common. If you get nasty blue puffs of smoke during shifts (off-throttle), suspect turbo. But, usually a failing turbo isn't just at idle. Screw the compression test, if it runs without a miss it's going to pull 145 or better across all 4. I say, drop downpipe and check for oil. If little or no oil is found in o2 housing.....my bet is valve stem seals. Wiz
