have you ever looked into any of the adhesives they use in autobody. 3m, lord fusor, evercoat and valvoline all make really good products. probly the best would be the evercoat since that one dont take a special gun, just a typical calking gun is all you need.

I've used a mallet/block of wood before and it worked just fine. But do so at your own risk. I've seen em break too, just not on me.

all the dx and std civics in 88-91 were throttle body injected. my use of DPFI may have been wrong, i was using it as dual point fuel injection. There is definitely only 2 injectors on there. a plus to the 88's is that they are lighter than the newer ones an 88 dx 4dr is 1900 to 2000lbs.

i looked at the axles at advanced auto parts, and i think i am going with those, limited lifetime warranty and everything, the are a little more than the auto zone ones by about $50 I know raxles makes good products, but they are so expensive compared to autozone or advanced auto parts

That makes it a little different. I would go for a stage 2 if your goin to put down lots of power.

Typically the probably does lie in the FITV or IACV, so props for atleast checking that first. They can also be adjust/cleaned to help out the idle a bit.

A new LS1 longblock can be acquired fairly economically. I think I saw a GM dealership selling LS6 crate engines for about $5,000. If you wanted a cheaper one, you could get one from a wrecked F-body. Check out ls1.com and ls1tech.com to see if there are any sales. I'd get the Painless wiring kit, too.

alright so im trying to install my safc-2 into my EF.... i had this in my EG but i didnt have the pinouts like i had with that...i printed a chart off of "effin works.com" that they put out for the MPFI swap... so i have most of it figured out.... but someone please help me figure the rest out.... and tell me if im right with the stuff i think i got figured out.... ok so i have the brown/black ground wires figured out because there are about 10 different ground pins on the ecu green wire- is the RPM wire... but i cant find what it would be on the chart gray wire- TPS wire... well, there are a couple different ones it could hook up to, so which one would it be? on the chart it says it could be **c7 **(throttle (position) angle sensor) c12 (PA sensor/ignition timing adjusting connector/TA sensor/TPS sensor/TW sensor) C13 (PA sensor/(TPS sensor) so im guessing its probably the C7 pin? because it has nothing else attached to it or whatever red wire- power supply... i havnt found a pin on here for that power supply... could i just hook it up to like one of the injector wires for power??? or where is a good one to splice into and i dont have a knocking sensor so i dont have to hook up the purple wire. what the hell kind of sensor do i have for the pressure sensor.... im guessing its the karman? and what wires on the SAFC hook up to which on the ECU... again there is three pins it could go to... C14-green/white C15-yellow/red C11-white 1 which one do i splice my two wires into? the white one? if you can offer any info that would be great... or if you could point me in any informative links it would be well appreciated..... thanks for looking atleast also.. anyone have any basemaps? im using dsm 450's... i know i can set then at -40% but anyone have anything better?

97Cav wrote: i was just wondering if any body has ever used Crower cams and retainers and springs before. would some one recomend them to use on a sohc civic? i found a spring and retainer kit for 302.95. and the stage 2 cam for 319.95 from morepowerracing.com does anybody know where i could find them for cheaper without going on ebay?? Talk to focus guys... www.focaljet.com and www.focusfanatics.com Crower seems to be the most popular cam for the focus. See a lot of guys using them and havent heard much complaint about them at all. You will find a lot of Zetec guys using them... no SVT guys because the SVT cams are still being worked on. So best bet is to check out Zetec forums... if you wanna ask them about their cams.

R1 (i think made by hyper). It is the only brand that Radioactive (in grand forks, before they went out of business) carried at the time. EDIT: I'll be putting these in classifieds soon. EDIT AGAIN: They are in the classifieds with pictures.

I checked the ISC and everything was fine with it. I disconnected the battery for 30 mins so I have to wait a few days to see where the idle is going to be at.
