Your right.......sorry i wasnt thinkin when i posted it. Thanks for the advise anywayz

what is your set-up right now... it depends- if you still run a TFI and N/A you won't see much of a gain, spark energy is more consistent above 5500-6000 (not sure if you are making power up there or not...) It's not bad money spent, but don't look for it to work miracles, that's all.

I would go with the Mallory 685. It has a 2 stage rev limiter along with an RPM activated window switch and timing retard. The box is $240 from Summit. We put this into Brian's (Camzaro28) car and it was really easy to use and set up. Also get the adapter harness from MSD or whoever makes the harness to plug and play. As far as a coil I would get the Accel or MSD from summit as well. I ordered up the Accel when I did plugs and wires and its been fine for me. Also might want to pick up some FRPP (Ford Racing Performance Parts) 9mm plug wires which are around $40 along with a new cap and rotor.

My set-up is stock with no power adders. I got some extra money from doing a headgasket job for someone and wanna up grade the ignition sysstem. Not lookin for any miracles just lookin to upgrade.

Nitrous kit...
-
Ha ! On a stock engine that has hyperutectic pistons.......... i dont think so. Ive heard alot of stories bout that stuff. I dont know if its true bout pistons failing but i dont want to find out with my engine. Besides i dont have any fuel adjustment ie. pressures

A wet nitrous kit will take care of everything. You'll be fine w/ the pistons...
-
HaHa yeah........I dont really want to go in the nitrous direction. Maybe a cam wil fit the bill.
-
Well i dont want a car that i cant drive during the summer due to aggressive cam profile or anything like that. My goal is to build the HP to or about 400 maybe even 375. So maybe a cam is a better idea. Then the heads, intake and then either a s/c or turbo can come later.

I got longtubes and matching h-pipe w/ dynomax cat-back for my exhaust and a CAI for intake. That bout sums it up for hard parts. I like that SSI intake from BBK. Besides it comes with TB for little extra cash.
