Ha ! On a stock engine that has hyperutectic pistons.......... i dont think so. Ive heard alot of stories bout that stuff. I dont know if its true bout pistons failing but i dont want to find out with my engine. Besides i dont have any fuel adjustment ie. pressures

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall
Torque is how far you take the wall with you

A wet nitrous kit will take care of everything. You'll be fine w/ the pistons...

HaHa yeah........I dont really want to go in the nitrous direction. Maybe a cam wil fit the bill.

What are the long term goals??? Start there so you do not make repeat purchases or make unnecessary puchases.

Well i dont want a car that i cant drive during the summer due to aggressive cam profile or anything like that. My goal is to build the HP to or about 400 maybe even 375. So maybe a cam is a better idea. Then the heads, intake and then either a s/c or turbo can come later.

I got longtubes and matching h-pipe w/ dynomax cat-back for my exhaust and a CAI for intake. That bout sums it up for hard parts. I like that SSI intake from BBK. Besides it comes with TB for little extra cash.

As long as you don't go lean the hyper pistons in those cars will take a lot of abuse. If you do decide to go with nitrous, which I would definately recommend, get a dry kit. With wet kits, the fuel likes to pool in the upper intake and backfire.

                          nah, not really. 😄

A nitrous kit will run you $600 when its all said and done. Pretty easy. I'd even help ya put it in.
