lawl at 750 hp being "detuned". Keep the parachute for added effect. So the questions now is, wheres the original number matching engine for the vert?

Thinking about it 750-800 might be a tad too much for a lighter car. I can always put smaller wastegate springs in it. The AMS-1000 doesn't care about spring size. It adds boost until your set value is met regardless of spring size.
I still have the motor. Just needs some pistons. It's a Ford, checking Ford part markings to insure that the parts are original is not possible. GM used matching serial numbers. The Ford only uses casting numbers with dates. At least that is what I am led to believe.

how did everything look in the motor?? better or worse than you expected??Only thing I thought was odd was the intake runners in the head had some tar-like sludge on the bottom of them. I think it may be too rich at part throttle cruising. It always felt like it wanted to stumble when cruising around. Besides that everything else looks good. I thought it would be a little cleaner on the valves. But not bad for what it has been through. 150+ dyno pulls, 40 or so passes last year and who knows how miles Andy put on it while it was down in SD. I always wondered why the back seat stunk.

E98 will clean those valves right up. Mine looked cleaner after running all season than they did when I put them in.
