We're just starting to get parts to build Kevins motor, so once thats all assembled i'll prolly build something pretty crazy for that setup since i think the goal is to try make stupid power on a SOHC.

                    That is beautiful Nick!

I have never seen any other shop do that, but it seems like the perfect design.

We've been doing backdoor FMIC setups on DSM's for years, just recently started fitting it into Honda applications. My civic had a very similar setup as well as integra_gsr98 does now as well. We are running a double backdoor FMIC on his car and eliminated a good 4 feet of IC piping.

What are the benefits of this?? I would assume it would spools a little quicker and maybe save some weight.

The less area the air has to travel the more efficent it is, less pressure loss, quicker spool...

Less clamps to blow off lol...

Here you can kindof see the short stubby IC pipe connecting my turbo to the IC.

with a set up like that do you have to put stiffer motor mounts in so when engine move it doesnt bend all that up?

Either poly mounts or a hump hose coupler. As you'll notice on the integra it has motor mount inserts.
