Does anyone know how much it would be to remove or reflash a governor?

Get a DHP PCM. They are about $250 I believe.

i believe the jet chip for that application well do it also

Im just not sure how to do any of that stuff but it sucks when my car tops out at 107

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A JET CHIP!

You can't do it yourself, you need to get a reflashed ECU from DHP like I said.

find someplace online that has roms for your car and I can (maybe) reflash your ecu for you.

The PCM does more than just remove the speed limiter.

it raises the rev limiter to but what else does it do?

Speed limiter removed
3-1 and 4-2 skip shifts
Transmission line pressure increased
Shift points moved to 5800-6000 RPM
Fan turn on points altered as follows:
186 degree F turn on
2 minute fan on at key-off (this feature activates when engine coolant is 179 degrees or greater)
MAF calibration adjusted for proper year
Fuel/spark adjustments as follows:
Enrichens fuel delivery for critical problem areas
Provides a consistent power gain across the entire power band
Reduces spark retard (knock retard)
Removes "40MPH wide open throttle lag" experienced with your stock PCM

For most GP guys this is the most worthwhile mod they do. It usually gives around 12whp difference. Not bad for a stock NA car.

ya, but dont go posting about it. at 117 in a grand prix is pretty fast, unless they rased it for the newerones

i know the 2004 and up is higher and mines only 107 not 117
