have you ever looked into any of the adhesives they use in autobody. 3m, lord fusor, evercoat and valvoline all make really good products. probly the best would be the evercoat since that one dont take a special gun, just a typical calking gun is all you need.

Do it right the first time is the only advice I can give you. "If you can't do it right the first time, how will you be able to afford to do it a second time?"

That is true about the parts being cheap, and mostly the simplicity of them, but it's neat to be different everynow and again...Get's some attention...lol

first hit on google for "outback overheating" led me to this page which didn't look promising: http://en.allexperts.com/q/Subaru-Repair-831/1998-Subaru-Outback-overheating.htm There were a bunch more you might want to look at though, I gotz to get some sleepy. If the motor's never been touched I'd be willing to bet a little money on the water pump taking a crap, but who the hell knows. Sucks trying to figure out that sh*t when it could be a few different things.

This is a pretty interesting site on the operation of the EEC IV for Mustangs. The information can be applied to most any fuel injected vehicle. http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/tech/engine/EECIVInnerWorkings/
