nascar>f1? wtf

not trying to sound like an ass here, but it seems like traction control would be more necessary on cars that have to turn BOTH directions than it would be for cars that turn ONE direction....you can probably set the suspension up easy enough for NASCAR to safely run w/o traction control.

It might sound easy, go rent F1 2002 from easports and you'll see.never said it was easy...im just comparing the two different styles
id also like to add that yes, f1 cars are faster and have more technology, but with the technology comes driving aids which take away from the "skill" part of racing...its almost like cheeting

yes, but nascar drivers get to change tires, F1 does not (ok...they can change ONE tire per race...not one set, one tire.) Trust me traction control doesn't prevent spinouts in F1, they get loose plenty often as well.

-
no, its like saying my wrx tires can last as long as a honda insights can if I am a good enough driver.
-
if he had enough skill to find a really really long downhill portion he could

-
well, last year F1 could make tire changes (3 I think, someone wanna chime in on this that knows for sure), they found a way to run w/o a tire change...they did it through research and driver skill

Dirt track is fun....probably because i have family that races sprint cars....and my dads bar sponsers alot of SuperStock and Modified Cars
-
yeah real spendy....and you dont really make alot of money doing it....even if you are really good.
I don't remember for sure...but for my cousin to get on with the World Of Outlaws it was gonna cost him $100k for a Contract.

yeah and that's the most they can win in one race... Knoxville or the Big One in Eldora... me and my parents go to Knoxville for the nationals every year for like 8 years now... they dont make near as much as any other racer, and late models are even worse... for their big circuit the most they win is 50k a race i think.... and that's when they are here...
-
hmm...I didnt think they won that much...but your probably right.
