8pt is only good to 10.0 and or 135mph. 10pt it and be done.

was bored so i built a heat shield for the turbine housing out of some aluminum scraps

turned out better than i thought it would, looks nice

and yes i know the retainers go underneath not on top, lol

new turbo showed up from FI

got a new Precision 7875 (78hpsh) uses the 75mm gt42's turbine compared to the 68mm F1-68 i had before in the TC

should still spool nice and fast but open it up quite a bit for power

was torn between a PT88 or the 78 GTS, but i still wanted some decent response so went with the GTS

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

yeah i already sold it, it was a turbonetics TC78

I am surprised none of the 2jz guys have tried them, seems they would work well with that engine, big compressor and smaller turbine

i probably would have but didn't want to chance it not fitting, i am about positive the comp compressor cover for that turbo is bigger than the GTS

and i already had to do some work with a flap disk to get this one to fit without hitting

little bit of work and it fits, the compressor cover definitely a good bit larger than the TC

                              next up is IC plumbing

I really like the aluminum V-band, but the o-ring they sent was almost a cunt hair big

it was a bitch to make sure it was in there and seated correctly
