have you ever looked into any of the adhesives they use in autobody. 3m, lord fusor, evercoat and valvoline all make really good products. probly the best would be the evercoat since that one dont take a special gun, just a typical calking gun is all you need.

well, assuming that you have decent i/e (which you appear to have), the ib spec cams should give you quite a jolt, based on the claims

Ok, here is a page I found, make it a little easier. I stand corrected, there were B17's, D16's, along with a few ZC's found in Japan, but most found here since the early 90's are B18's. http://www.enginereplacement.com/htdocs/engine_swap.htm

I would be very interested but I asked Type R and they said around 10g's :sigh: need i repeat myself? out there wrote: www.roadraceengineering.com used to sell the aem stand-alone system with 3 different prices. $10k if you want something to amaze your friends that will help you build a 10second car $3500 if you think that this is the only way to make xxxhp $1400 if you are concerned about how to adjust your fuel pressure on the fly, account for large variations in altitude, etc the questions weren't that simple, just stuff i pulled off the top of my head. basically, if you were buying the stand-alone because of fast and the furious than you deserved to get raped... but if you had some idea what to do and weren't just jumping on the bandwagon... see where i'm going with this? caleb knows what's what, he'll help you figure out what to do if you ask him the right questions. BUT, if you go in (any performance shop) saying that you want your base model mustang to smoke your cousin's viper, have 2 15's in the trunk, convert it to a 5spd and still be reliable enough to get to class enery morning... he's going to send you away with a scary price (and if you are stupid enough to buy at that price, he'll be happy to take your cash). do some reading to compare superchargers to turbos on v6's, figure out some realistic goals and what kinds of prices to expect, then go in with some intelligent questions. i guarantee that you will be talking to a completely different guy and getting different answers.

Like what the above said, plus youll most likely need new pistons, rods, ecu, tranny, tq converter, and maybe even the engine if the heads dont even bolt up....soooo... Best bet, pull an engine and put it in yours, or you might be better off finding a SC Regal or GP GTP, if not cheaper and selling the one that your Grammy gave ya to help out. MY OPINION, Sell the one your Grammy gave ya, find something with a SC in it already. Ryan

nope, still havn't found the short inmy headlights, gonna take it to a shop in town that told me they could fix it in an hour or two, they said they had runinto the problem before and it wouldn't be a problem for them, since I've looked and looked and can't find the short. yeah I checked that site and i think it was 550$ for a manifold, alittle more then I would like to pay, but if there's no option I guess I'll have to take it, I e-mailed them to see if they could get parts for my engine. thanks for the info

i'm starting look at stuff for building ka24de with a turbo to put in my 240. currently im just working on the bottom end. my idea, arp studs all around crower rods ross 8.5:1 pistons cosmetic head gasket?????? i'm still looking in to the main bearings have no clue here just use what comes wtih stuff, oem??? only opinions on the head gasket, or other gaskets??? ecomendations for ecu was think or Jim wolf tech. but still looking. not quite ready to go to full engine manegment system that well happen later after i get the head done. also use a afc of some sort. for injector should i spend the money once and go to 555cc or 660cc's or go small then go big when everyhting is done. also were would be best place to buy stuff like oil and coolant lines for turbo, motor parts, gaskets, studs. not to worried about injectors and turbo maybe need a little help on the size issues for them. my dads shop sells some off that stuff. any help would be awsome like to here others opinions to see other sides of it

well... there's a difference between being able to do it, and whether or not it will improve the performance. your car likely has a 50-60mm (2-2.4") throttle body, do you really think that a 3" (75mm) intercooler pipe will improve anything? if you look at many cars that run in auto-x (primarily), they use smaller piping.
